Episode 1: Rose
Christopher Eccleston takes the role of the time-travelling crusader, who lands on Earth just in time to save a department store worker, named Rose Tyler (Billie Piper), from a horde of marauding mannequins - thus plunging the pair into a desperate battle against a malevolent alien intelligence with the ability to bring plastic to life.
Episode 2: The End Of The World

Episode 3: The Unquiet Dead
The Doctor and Rose travel by accident to 1869 Earth, and find that recently deceased corpses are returning to life, in a ghostly way. A mortician and his assistant know of the problem, but to keep their secret a secret, they kidnap Rose, who witnesses them collecting one of their ghostly corpses. The Doctor then must rescue Rose, and help the ghostly corpses return to there their own universe. He is aided in this effort by the aged Charles Dickens.
Things dona 't go as the Doctor expects, and serious repercussions occur to those around him.
Episode 4: Aliens Of London (1)
The Doctor takes Rose back to London - but their trip coincides with another, more dramatic alien arrival as a spaceship plunges into the Thames. In the ensuing panic, the authorities quarantine the capital from the rest of the world - and even Rose's own home is no refuge from the sinister Slitheen.
Episode 5: World War Three (2)
As an interplanetary war threatens to engulf the world, the Doctor, Rose and Harriet find themselves trapped in Downing Street, unable to thwart the Slitheen - but it seems Jackie and Mickey could hold the key to Earth's salvation.
Episode 6: Dalek
The Doctor is called to back to Earth by a psychic letter asking for help. However, the Tardis materializes in a strange museum filled with many alien objects, many of which are from the future, and ita 's also located many stores underground.
After the museuma 's owner captures the Doctor and Rose, the Doctor gets a horrible shock when he learns who or what the one lone living museum collection turns out to be a " the last living Dalek!
The barely alive Dalek, which has been tortured for a very long time, is however, able to turn the tables, and regain its former strength and power. Now the deadly Dalek seeks revenge on its former torturers, and the last of the Time Lords, after which it plans to exterminate the entire human population.
Can the Doctor find a way to stop the murderous Dalek, before it gets out and destroys all of mankind? Rose, however, may turn out to be the key.
Episode 7: The Long Game
Adam is taken in the Tardis to the distant future, a time when Earth rules a far-flung galactic empire dominated by the Satellite 5 broadcasting system. However, it's not long before the Doctor begins to suspect that this confident facade conceals sinister forces busily manipulating mankind for their own ends.
Episode 8: Father's Day
Rose asks the Doctor to take her back to the point in time when her father was killed by a hit and run driver. However, the Doctor finds Rose had an ulterior motive, when she instead saves her father from being killed.
The Doctor is livid, and decides to leave Rose there, and continue on his journeys. But, the change in the time line has unleashed terrifying forces, which chase the Doctor, Rose, her father and a wedding party into a church. The Doctor must find a way to deal with these strange creatures, but in the end it is up to Rosea 's father to defeat the horrifying entities.
Episode 9: The Empty Child (1)
The time-travelling duo land in London in 1941, at the height of the Blitz, and discover the city's homeless children are being terrorised by a ghostly youngster. To add to the mystery, the Army are guarding a peculiar cylinder - and a dashing officer soon threatens the Doctor's hero status in Rose's eyes.
Episode 10: The Doctor Dances (2)
As the Child’s plague spreads, London is overrun by an army of zombies, forcing the Doctor and Rose to join forces with intergalactic con-man Captain Jack in a bid to save the world.
Episode 11: Boom Town
The Doctor and his companions visit Cardiff, where he encounters an old enemy he thought long dead. It turns out that a scheme to build a new power station conceals an alien plot that threatens to destroy the entire world.
Episode 12: Bad Wolf (1)
The Doctor, Rose and Jack fight for their lives on board the Game Station, little suspecting an even more sinister threat is lurking in the shadows - one which could spell the end for the entire human race.
Episode 13: The Parting Of The Ways (2)
The Doctor's friendship with Rose is put to the ultimate test as the Earth is plunged into all-out war - and the Time Lord is forced to take desperate measures to save humanity from annihilation. Featuring David Tennant's first appearance as the Doctor's new incarnation.
